After some discussion on Mailman-developers[*], I think there is a better way: Allow subscribers to choose whether they want From: munging or trust the MLM's ARC seals. This is described in my draft[†] as one of three methods to get rid of From: munging. I ask anew: Would this list implement ARC? Would this list offer a non-munged alternative to subscribers? Would this list's subscribers mark ietf.org as trusted and choose to receive non-munged messages?
