Hi Doug, At 16:28 25-04-2013, Doug Barton wrote: >Yep, been there, done that. It was a bad decision then, and it's >still a bad decision now. And, to make matters worse, I am ok if anyone says that it a bad decision. The thread for the discussion started at http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/spfbis/current/msg00426.html >The argument in 6686 boils down to, "We made a series of bad >decisions, which have led to a bad result. I have to respectfully mention that I read all the messages that were posted to the SPFBIS mailing list. I cannot take into consideration comments posted to ietf@ if they are not part of the Last Call. >But what if all of the previous discussion was wrong? The SPFBIS WG Chairs are the persons making the determination for discussions within the working group. I happen to be one of the SPFBIS WG co-chairs and the other co-chair is Andrew Sullivan. I didn't ignore his comments. I didn't ask Andrew Sullivan whether he ignored his comments. If I misunderstood or misinterpreted his comments he would likely talk to me about that. That makes it unlikely that any twisting would reach my ears. :-) Regards, S. Moonesamy
