 yes.  did you read/follow the NSEC4 discussions a few years back?
 this is a fine piece of work that clearly lays out the path of NSEC work
 and the ramifications for wildcards (5.3 & 5.4)...

 overall a needed addition to the DNS documentation library.  

 why do you ask?
