I hate to break it to you, but between a tenth and a fifth of
worldwide DNS resolver traffic already goes to a small number of
American companies. There are countries where the proportion is closer
to 100%.

I think we should try to take the geopolitics out of the discussions
in this venue. None of us live in or identify with a country whose
government is perfect. By all means let's consider the merits of
informed choice by sophisticated end users who have concerns about
privacy jurisdictions, but attaching national identity to sides of the
discussion is just a path to jingoism.
