You might want to consider also updating RFC 3597, either to
specifically remove those record types from being “well-known”
or at least to have a reference in that RFC’s update list in
the index to point people to the updated list of what is allowed
to use name compression in the record data.

On a more nit-picky note: Unless I am missing something, your
motivation, i.e., confusion due to name compression, doesn’t
justify obsoleting WKS -- not that anyone would possibly miss
it.
