I do hope the DNS caters to the requirements without another indirection. I
said "another indirection" because people like Ray said " No, DNS is not
designed for routing purposes. You should do it in another place".  I guess
you have the same position as your 2009 ACM queue article was frequently
quoted by these people.  However, the fact is that DNS has been widely used
as a direction system for a long time with lots of tricks though.
Individual tricks build walls for interoperability. Our friend PVM  thought
that DNS could contain not only data but also programs in the future. What
do you think?
