*** I better understand now your reluctance on P2PNames: .bit has
exactly one feet on each side of your argument.

I was waiting for the minutes of the Interim Meeting (especially the
parts concerning the adoption of OnionTLD by this WG, and the part
concerning the P2PNames draft) but I must say that the P2PNames party is
already contemplating working on split drafts to facilitate the
proceeding in a reasonable time of non-controversial strings, including
to support draft-appelbaum-dnsop-onion-tld (albeit with some reserves),
and clarify the discussion so that such arguments become apparent.

Andrew you will have an opportunity to test your assumption more
practically soon. :)

I'm looking for financial support to pursue this task: I am not employed
by a generous corporation and most of my colleagues do not have mandates
for that either. As usual the fringe of innovation on the end-to-end
Internet matches the hi-tech-lo-life style of Cyberpunk novels.

Regards,
