I am also in favor of adoption. I am a member of a consortium carrying out a study on behalf of ICANN on the naming scheme used for the root servers (the RSSAC028 Implementation study <https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/request-for-proposal-rssac028-implementation-1-11-2021-en>). This is a follow up study of the Advisory from the ICANN Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC) RSSAC028 <https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/rssac-028-03aug17-en.pdf>. I expect that our work and the report we are currently in the process of writing, will provide the means for well considered feedback and input on this draft. I am also voicing support for adaption on behalf of the other consortium members: Moritz Müller and Marco Davids from SIDN and Yorgos Thessalonikefs and Benno Overeinder (with consortium hat) from NLnet Labs. -- Willem Op 31-05-2023 om 15:54 schreef Tim Wicinski: > > All > > A reminder that there is an open call for > adoption on draft-klh-dnsop-rfc8109bis. > While this document may not be relevant to most operators, there are > some that do > find this useful, and we wish to hear from them. > > This call for adoption ends: 7 June 2023 > > tim > > > > On Wed, May 24, 2023 at 10:01 AM Tim Wicinski <tjw.ietf@gmail.com> wrote: > > > All > > The authors for RFC8109 have made some updates to their document > "Initializing a DNS Resolver with Priming Queries", and are > looking to have the > work adopted by DNSOP. > > You can see the changes made since RFC8109 here: > > https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url1=rfc8109&url2=draft-klh-dnsop-rfc8109bis-06&difftype=--html > <https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url1=rfc8109&url2=draft-klh-dnsop-rfc8109bis-06&difftype=--html> > > This starts a Call for Adoption for draft-klh-dnsop-rfc8109bis > > The draft is available here: > https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-klh-dnsop-rfc8109bis/ > > > Please review this draft to see if you think it is suitable for > adoption > by DNSOP, and send any comments to the list, clearly stating your > view. > > Please also indicate if you are willing to contribute text, > review, etc. > > This call for adoption ends: 7 June 2023 > > Thanks, > tim wicinski > For DNSOP co-chairs > > > _______________________________________________ > DNSOP mailing list > DNSOP@ietf.org > https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/dnsop
