I *think* that the WG / RFC Editor would have checked to make sure that the link goes *somewhere*, and so I suspect that the paper did actually exist at one point…. but, yes, I can also not find any sort of archival copy of it, nor the conference it came from. The Abstract (from ResearchGate) is also a little confusing / disjointed: "The algorithm advances on one direction until the discovered fragments are defragged. A stack is dedicated for the defragment with advantage of time and space efficiency. Complexity analysis shows that compared with random DNS queries, the algorithm reduces the number of queries to N." Authors, any idea / links? Or does anyone have a current link to this paper?
