Regarding the problem with mapping rt values to information in DNS-SD records...
Example from doc:
> An example of this more specific <ServiceType> is "light._sub._oic._udp".

Would this work:

1)     Service type name ("_oic" above): change "exp" to have the value to copy it from, instead of exp simply being Boolean

2)     Make the subtype ("light" above): make this be some hash of the full rt value.  This works for URIs as well as arbitrary length rt values, at the expense of a tiny risk of collision.

3)     Put the actual rt value into a TXT record just like the if value (which can also be a URI btw) already is.   In the rare case of collision, and app could use this to do further filtering.
