Amelia and others,

There was a glitch in the IETF "data tracker" tool for a couple of hours recently (just when authors uploaded their new version) and the version number in metadata (the version your see in status web page for a document) does not match the version number in the .TXT or .XML. You can see by yourself by going to https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-dnssd-prireq-07 the text shows -05... (could be changed in the coming hours when it is fixed) and no -06.

The 'only' easy way to fix the I-D going through RFC Editor queue is for me, responsible AD, and for the IETF tools team (in cc), to ask authors to upload the very same I-D _BUT_ with a version -08 in the text and in the metadata.

Bottom line: trying to fix things, please bear with us for a while

Hope this clarifies the situation

-éric

i don't want to be nitpicky but what is going on with the versioning here?
