One of my more recent changes to Firefox's DoH code was exactly a system that 
makes it switch off "TRR" when the DoH server repeatedly fails to respond 
correctly (in time).

But we're digressing, that's really a Firefox/webbrowser issue, not a general 
DoH issue.
