Is this a new list? I just received a subscription notice.

We have a few lists already, and I'm just wondering whether this list
was just set up to separate the types of discussions/announcements or
something.

I'll go ahead and add a filter for this list but thought there already
was such a list.

Perhaps I was mistaken?
