All, This update to the Admin Record Types document fixes some IANA terminology that came out of IANA review and addresses editorial comments from IESG review. Additionally it splits reserved blocks for experimental use and private use as recommended by Éric Vyncke and does so in a way which mirrors the small reserved block of the BPv7 block type registry. Rather than reserving the entire 4-byte and 8-byte code point space, this update reserves a 128-item block for experimental use and 1024-item block for private use at the top of the 2-byte space. As in the block type registry, this leaves higher code points un-spoken-for and available for future registry updates as needed. To AD Erik Kline, I believe these changes address all final review comments and this should be ready to progress. I haven't seen any other specific comments or requests regarding the reserved block sizes or spaces so I don't know if there is any other feedback needed about that change to the registry.
