Marc it is very fine to disagree with me. Also I would like to quote a
very specific part of my IANA comment:

I think Scott's comment below indicate that it is not obvious that a
common registry for BP6 and BP7 is working without issues. So make up
your mind in the WG considering the information you have so far and
lets go with that. 

I have been part of efforts where people have gone both ways with how
to handle different versions and registries.
