Howdy,

No objection to this, but this read oddly:

 This document extends the urn:service:sos.police to allow the type of
   police force.  The type of force is a token separated from
   urn:service.sos.police by a period.

Perhaps instead of "type of force" you could say "The type of
law enforcement agency is a token..."?

Also, it might be slightly better to say "allow the system to
distinguish the type"
.
