1) You can participate on Meetecho without registered.
   (I guess we agree that they don't count)

2) You can register as a remote an never join a single Meetecho.

3) You can register as a remote user, but then not login to Meetecho, and
   then you won't get counted as attendee.

I would think that the official list would be the one from the secretariat.
If we are going to do all this work, then let's do it for the selection
commitee too.
