This just came in the news - Indians visiting the UK will not have to
deposit a 3000 British Pound bond to visit the UK.

Just to give an idea, this is 3 months (or more) salary for a mid-level
engineer. Luckily it does not seem to apply for short visits like IETF
meetings.
