Another comment, this time on the OSPF model for handling point-to-point type nets. There are definite problems with scaling a designated multicast server to suport large numbers of hosts on a single network. The designated server(and backup server) may end up as bottlenecks: imagine redistributing a "multicast" message to 1000 hosts. For 10-50 hosts it is probably just fine. Tracy
