Reading this blog post cheered me up, thank you.

I am still frustrated, of course, that those doing wifi, other forms of 
wireless (802.11ad, 802.11ak) or homeplug (network over powerline) 
technologies don't seem to be paying even half as much attention to the 
details you raise, as the 5g-ers are.
