I started on this one in 2018, after getting thousands of calls by an attacker that had dire consequences as police advised, they couldn't do anything. Nowadays, there's alot linked to mobile numbers; indeed, still some accounts I can't access having had to change the number. I hope the simple outline illustrates the use-case well enough.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fqaK2eplB-UkQK84_tgjGMX1LvEjTN57/view?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow">https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fqaK2eplB-UkQK84_tgjGMX1LvEjTN57/view?usp=sharingits similar in-turn to the ADP stuff (and linked to former w3c credentials & work, now widely supported, alongside WebID (FOAF+SSL)' https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/119/materials/agenda-119-hotrfc-sessa-04#h.eno136kpyxqs" rel="nofollow">https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/119/materials/agenda-119-hotrfc-sessa-04#h.eno136kpyxqs not withstanding some ontologiccal considerations where i suspect an update to foaf is reasonably considered, potentially a worthwhile undertaking...I hope that helps.tim.h.______________________________________________________________________________________________Hi all,

Subject: [wsis20] ITU CWG-Internet - opportunity for contributions [deadline 3 Sept] Date: Sat, 20 Jul 2024 01:43:33 +0000 From: Becky McGilley via wsis20 <wsis20@icann.org> Reply-To: Becky McGilley <rebecca.mcgilley@icann.org> To: wsis20@icann.org <wsis20@icann.org>
Dear WSIS+20 Network,
The GE team would like to send out a reminder for an opportunity to provide public comments on proceedings for the ITU Council Working Group on International Internet-related Public Policy Issues (CWG-Internet). The deadline is 3 September.
ICANN plans to contribute comments as well and will share them when we do.
Here is the information we have shared to our https://www.icann.org/en/government-engagement/community-contribution-opportunities" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> website:
The ITU Council Working Group on International Internet-related Public Policy Issues (CWG-Internet) is holding an open consultation on “the developmental aspects to strengthen the Internet.” Stakeholders’ perspectives are sought on the following:
- How relevant multilateral and multi-stakeholder processes, including but not limited to UN-based processes such as Summit of the Future, WSIS+20 and the IGF, could address aspects related to Internet development?
- What are the challenges and opportunities, good practices and favourable policy environments to strengthen the Internet, including in areas such as: fostering meaningful connectivity; equitable access for all; promoting a secure and resilient Internet; achieving universal access, the deployment of IPv6; using satellite communication to reach remote and underserved remote areas; ensuring services are affordable for people; promoting digital inclusion and skills; fostering multi-stakeholder participation and encouraging public and private sector investment in Internet infrastructure.
- How can we promote international multistakeholder cooperation on public policy issues that are focused on promoting the development aspects of the Internet?
Note, a physical consultation will be held in October 2024. Refer to the ITU link for more information.
