Agreed... We still have to deal (as a global community) with the urgency of governments controlling traffic shutting down connectivity. Would be interesting to be able to share an approach that, in a short or long timespan, we could walk to find solutions to this situations.
One could be cross boarder links, or border IXPs... But I'm not that versed in these things to give an opinion
