I would add that there is a means to achieve this that does not require =
any changes to the archives, which is for the presentation layer of the =
mail archive to offer a link that replaces the target URL with the =
unwrapped version. (I=E2=80=99m sure there are lots of details that need =
to be resolved so this is not trivial).
