IMO there's nothing wrong with do so - we should absolutely do that.   
But it's a drop in the ocean, not a reason to pat ourselves on the back, 
and not something that should be seen as a "first step" that might 
actually delay progress on far more important aspects of the problem, 
ESPECIALLY if that first step is to be undertaken by a working group 
that will take far longer than necessary.

But let me try to be even clearer - trying to define inclusion and 
diversity only along very narrow pigeonholing lines is harmful to 
inclusion and diversity.
