Amusingly, Debian already believes that RFC documents are protected
against this, and flags all RFC documents in GPL licensed software as
an DFSG error. Eg see https://groups.google.com/g/linux.debian.kernel/c/Pqw8klO72FE?pli=1
where debian removed "draft-ietf-cipso-ipsecurity-01.txt" from the linux
source code as a GPL violation :shrug:

ps. I mean, the Linux kernel should really remove this draft document
     that expired when the Linux kernel was around version 0.01, but
     the DFSG argument is a pretty big herd of yak shaving.
