We have a large and growing number of projects on the wiki. Thanks to the project champions for adding and updating the details for each project. If you have not added info for your project yet, please do so asap.

https://trac.ietf.org/trac/ietf/meeting/wiki/105hackathon

As the hackathon continues to grow, it has become more challenging for everyone, but especially for newcomers to the hackathon and/or the IETF, to navigate their way to joining projects that are right for them and to which they can make valuable and rewarding contributions. In an attempt to help with this, I added the following to the wiki:

Note, all projects are open to everyone. However, some champions have identified their projects as being particularly good for first time IETFers and/or first time hackathoners. These projects are marked with a star, i.e. '*'. If you are championing a project that is great for newcomers, please add a '*' at the end of your project name.

Please consider whether your project is, or can be, good for newcomers. If so, please add a ‘*’ to the title of your project. Please also consider adding info, links, etc., that would be helpful to a newcomer to your project description.

Thanks, and see you soon in Montreal!

Cheers,

Charles
