I'm told by some friends who are news admins that there has been
a group split and news.admin.policy has been superceeded by new
groups. (in particular news.admin.misc and news.admin.net-abuse.misc)

(I haven't found definitive confirmation of this, but it sounds
plausible...)

They also suggested that the list "moderators@uunet.uu.net" might
be a place to ask for feedback (it is a technical list for
newsgroup moderators), but cautioned that it might not be strictly
on topic. (A bit of a Catch 22 in posting about netiquette ;)

Poking around in the archives at uunet suggests that
tale@uunet.uu.net (David C Lawrence) might be a reasonable person
(if highly placed) to ask if this (or several other related lists
at uunet) might be an appropriate forum.
