Hello,

I am reading about the HIP protocol and really can't understand the difference between a HIT and LSI. Especially what's the meaning of local scope of an LSI???

and for the HITs, is there any entity which manages their generation and assign them to hosts?? or each host generates its own HIT???
same thing for LSIs generation??

I rely on your help please
thanks a lot
