FYI, HIP for Linux is now utilized in a testbed cloud deployment that is used for analyzing CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) data from CERN. The HIP protocol provides secure connectivity and connection management capabilities for the OpenStack based cloud. Thanks to Salman Toor, Juhani Toivonen and Lirim Osmani. The work has been carried out in the Academy of Finland DII-HEP project led by professors Paula Eerola and Sasu Tarkoma. DII-HEP (CMS) cluster is running HIP: http://www.nordugrid.org/monitor/
