Yes, I can do both the "p2mp" and multicastcast modes, that's fairly easy 
to test.

However, as you say, I don't expect there to be much multicast loss 
because 2.4GHz isn't hugely congested where I live.

Now that I have a better feel for the setup and most of the bugs worked 
out (I hope), on monday I'll do quite a few more tests and I also intend 
to use babel and try a few similar test cases with it and compare.
