Comment:

This is a new protocol, so network infrastructure naturally needs to be
updated to handle it, as discussed in this reply:
    http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/hybi/current/msg02274.html

No change to the protocol is proposed to resolve this; it is easily
resolved by implementing Web Socket support in the proxy.

The Hypertext-Bidirectional (HyBi) working group will seek
standardization of one approach to maintain bidirectional
communications between the HTTP client, server and intermediate
entities, which will provide more efficiency compared to the current
use of hanging requests.
