we are not going to remove the version header in the final.

To be clear when we introduced the version header the idea was that it 
would be removed in the final;
however when developers started to use it, they found it useful
and since then we have heard only people asking to keep it even in the 
final,
while nobody has asked to remove it, neither during the wglc.
