John, the premise of legal agreements that deal with exit processes is
that the concerns of interest are for circumstances that are not
pleasant and cooperative.

A position that the IETF and ICANN will not have problems means we
should all stop talking and just ignore everything that is happening.
After all, everything is fine now and always will be.

The instant we open a topic of potential exit requirements, we need to
assume the process will be problematic.

So please explain the legal and operational basis that makes what you
are espousing a responsible position to take.
