Or they could choose to resign from the LLC if it turned out that they
weren't reappointed to the IESG.

I think the practical difference beween one and two year terms is
pretty minimal since any board member can resign at any time and we
have no idea what the conventions for LLC vs. IESG membership will
be.  So I would leave it alone.  If five years from now it is evident
that there is some glaring fault with two year terms that we didn't
anticipate, we can come back and fix it.
