Hi,

I am also fine with just saying IRTF. Will clear my discuss when incorporated.

Cheers

Agreed with the point about “IRSG”. The IRTF Steering Group is appointed and functions differently than the IAB or IESG. I believe it is intended to “advise” the IRTF Chair.

So, I think the new text s/IRSG/IRTF/ is fine.

Leslie.

To boil this down to text, would this be sufficient in your view, Magnus?:

The IETF LLC Board is directly accountable to the IETF community for

On the high level principle this would be fine. However, it makes me ask the first question if IRSG is the right entity. It likely are, but I lack the insight into IRTF management to say that. Secondly, this will be the first mention of the IRSG in the document. So some introduction or at least reference appears to be needed.
