<chair hat off>

This Ping draft and also the Traceroute Draft have both been re-issued
prior to expiring. These have been languishing a bit over the last year
with little to no feedback from the ICNRG participants. In discussions
at recent ICNRG meetings, there has been the general sense that these
nicely complement the CCNInfo work we have adopted and warrant adoption
and progression to experimental RFCs by the RG.

As an author, I’d like to ask the (other) chairs to consider making a
formal adoption call for these drafts so we can push forward with more
implementation and experimentation and have more tools in our tool chest
for instrumenting ICN networks.

Thanks.

DaveO & Spyros.
