Exactly, and sometimes just understanding that there IS a problem might be very very good things to understand. So for me, just because one know one language only, and it is english, one might still suit in a group/discussion like the one described. Knowing that one only know one language is in certain cases a strength and not what everyone understands... :-)

To some degree the problem collapses to:

- List the number of difficult incompatible paths forward, each one in isolation being hard

- Choose one

- Implement, move in that direction, execute
