Hell, why don't we just bake it into the brand new AS_PATH (e.g., *_Path) attributes [1] like you're attempting to do in *Standards Track* documents in SIDR Randy.  If we're going to rewrite BGP standards track documents there but not allow trivial things like this here I recommend folks with hacks join then fun over in SIDR.
