A Revised Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts
directories. This draft is a work item of the Integrated Directory Services
Working Group of the IETF.

Title : A Common Schema for the Internet White Pages Service
       Author(s) : T. Genovese
       Filename : draft-ietf-ids-iwps-schema-spec-01.txt
       Pages : 6
       Date : 06/12/1996

The IETF Integrated Directory Services (IDS) Working Group proposes to
establish a specification for a simple Internet white pages service. To
facilitate this effort it would be helpful to have a common schema used by
the various white page servers. This document is designed to specify the
basic set of attributes to be used for a white page entry for a person.
This schema does not describe how to represent other objects in the White
page service. It does describe how new objects can be defined and
registered. This schema is independent of implementations of the White
Page service.

Send a message to: mailserv@ds.internic.net. In the body type:
     "FILE /internet-drafts/draft-ietf-ids-iwps-schema-spec-01.txt".

NOTE: The mail server at ds.internic.net can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e., documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
      how to manipulate these messages.

For questions, please mail to Internet-Drafts@cnri.reston.va.us.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version
of the Internet-Draft.
