Title : RTP payload format for MPEG-4 Audio/Visual streams
	Author(s)	: Y. Kikuchi, T. Nomura, S. Fukunaga, Y. Matsui,
                          H. Kimata

	Pages : 13
	Date : 28-Oct-99

This document describes RTP payload formats for the carriage of MPEG-4
Audio and Visual streams[2][3], and an RTCP format for MPEG-4 backward
channel messages functionalities[4]. It is based on the RTP/RTCP
specification descried in the study on Internet draft for the carriage of MPEG-4 on IP[5]. In this specification, MPEG-4 Audio/Visual bitstreams are directly mapped into RTP packets without using MPEG-4 Systems[6]. The RTP header fields usage and the fragmentation rule for MPEG-4 Visual and Audio bitstreams are specified. It also specifies an RTCP packet usage to carry the MPEG-4 backward channel messages.

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
