The IESG has received a request from the Common Control and Measurement 
Plane WG (ccamp) to consider the following document:

- 'Data Channel Status Confirmation Extensions for the Link Management 
   Protocol '
   <draft-ietf-ccamp-confirm-data-channel-status-08.txt> as a Proposed Standard

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action.  Please send substantive comments to the
ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by 2009-12-16. This last call period is one
week longer than usual to allow for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Exceptionally, comments may be sent to iesg@ietf.org instead. In either
case, please retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated
sorting.
