A new IETF non-working group email list has been created.

List address: zip@ietf.org
Archive: https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/zip/
To subscribe: https://mailman3.ietf.org/mailman3/lists/zip.ietf.org/

Purpose:
Several efforts to roll out digital identity wallets have focused attention on zero-knowledge proof technology. There is a plethora of such mechanism, each with their own properties. Working on the assumption that no mechanism will emerge as a clear front runner in the near term combined with the rapidly evolving research landscape has raised a need to identify common properties of several of the methods under discussion that could be used to inform the IETF community. Outcomes of this work may include chartering an IETF working group to look at use-cases, formats or protocols designed to support the timely deployment of zero-knowledge technology.

This list belongs to IETF area: SEC
