Technical Summary

   This document discusses the properties, applicability and operational
   considerations of RIFT in different network scenarios.  It intends to
   provide a rough guide how RIFT can be deployed to simplify routing
   operations in Clos topologies and their variations.

Working Group Summary

   The working group has provided lots of updates based upon individual and directorate reviews. Consensus was reached to move the document forward to publication.

Document Quality

   This document provides guidance for the RIFT protocol which just passed IESG review. It is a companion document to aid in deployment of the protocol.
