Technical Summary

   This memo serves to register and document the 'haptics' top-level
   media type, under which subtypes for representation formats for
   haptics may be registered.  This document also serves as a
   registration for a set of subtypes, which are representative of some
   existing subtypes already in use.

Working Group Summary

   Nothing unusual procedurally.  There was broad agreement to publish this
   document.

   The only contentious point near the end was the choice of media types to
   register; the chosen types were, in the end, all ISO standard references.

Document Quality

   This work was developed in the presence of the media type reviewers.
   Couldn't ask for a better venue.
