According to recently approved procedures for populating the IETF Trust <https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-iasa2-trust-update-02 <https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-iasa2-trust-update-02>>, the IESG is required to appoint one person to the IETF Trust for a one-year term to begin in March 2019. The IESG has appointed Stephan Wenger.

I would like to congratulate Stephan and thank him for volunteering for this task. I would also like to thank those who provided feedback to the IESG on this selection.
