[IETF LLC] IETF Endowment Transition

I am pleased to report that just before the start of the meeting, we transitioned the IETF Endowment from ISOC to the IETF LLC. This transition was communicated to major donors as well and we have a balance of just over USD $3M. 
 
In the coming months we plan to update the investment strategy for the endowment, which includes goals for investment, level of acceptable risk vs. returns sought, specific investments, etc. We also will be developing a fundraising strategy that will guide how much we want to raise over what period, what resources we will devote to this, how we will conduct fundraising, what people and organizations we will target, and much more. 
 
Donors large and small have been generous in their support of the IETF Endowment. We look forward to building on their support and honoring their intent, to expand the IETF Endowment in the coming months and years.
