The IESG has received a request from the Operations and Management Area Working Group WG (opsawg) to consider the following document: - 'Extended TCP Options and IPv6 Extension Headers IPFIX Information Elements' <draft-ietf-opsawg-ipfix-tcpo-v6eh-15.txt> as Proposed Standard The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the last-call@ietf.org mailing lists by 2024-06-19. Exceptionally, comments may be sent to iesg@ietf.org instead. In either case, please retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated sorting. Abstract This document specifies new IP Flow Information Export (IPFIX) Information Elements (IEs) to solve issues with existing ipv6ExtensionHeaders and tcpOptions IPFIX IEs, especially the ability to export any observed IPv6 extension headers or TCP options.
