One of the most critical tasks facing the inaugural IETF LLC Board this year was to hire a permanent IETF Executive Director. I am delighted to announce today that this process is complete and that Jay Daley has joined the IETF as our first permanent IETF Executive Director!

Please also note that Portia Wenze-Danley will continue to serve the IETF until the end of the year in order to provide a smooth transition. We greatly appreciate her service through a period of great administrative change at the IETF!
