Technical Summary

This document defines a standard profile for Route Origin
Authorizations (ROAs). A ROA is a digitally signed object that
provides a means of verifying that an IP address block holder has
authorized an Autonomous System (AS) to originate routes to one or
more prefixes within the address block. This document obsoletes RFC
   6482.

Working Group Summary

It took a while to get to consensus, but it seems solid now.

Document Quality

While it is not really a protocol document, there are two
linked implementations of the sorting in the document.

The document does contain an example ROA which contains a
non-RFC3849-compliant IP address. This seems OK to me.

Personnel

   Chris Morrow is DS.
   Warren "Ace" Kumari is RAD!!!!
