The Cornish Language is included in the ISO-1 Code for Languages, but not in the IANA registry.  This registration request aims to add Cornish to the Registry.  Please let me know if there are any issues or problems with it and I will address them.

Cornish is included in ISO 639-1 and is covered by the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages in the UK.  It is supported by The Cornish Language Office at Cornwall Council.

The pandemic, and classes moving online as a result, has led to an explosion of interest in Cornish worldwide.  However, Internet content in Cornish is hard to find, usually classified as Breton or Welsh for lack of a Cornish language option.
